in balance, but because of the War, Aang has extra work instore. This is increased by the many enemies that seek to capture

all the fame that being the Avatar grants him. Indeed villages treat him like royality, and young girls flock lovingly around
him. But though all of this Aang manages to keep a happy and carefree attitude. Still a kid at heart he would rather
take a ride on some overly huge animal, risking his life than talk about being the Avatar. Aang is actually older than
he seems. Due to a large storm and running away, Aang was frozen in an iceberg and remained there for 100 years. During those
100 years the Fire Nation made its attack on the other four Nations, giving start to the War. With Aang frozen and unable
to stop them, the Fire Nation proceeded to conquer the world, led by the Fire Lord Shozen. At one time, Aang lived
at the Southern Air Temple, where he was taught Airbending by the Monk Gyasto . Aang developed a close relationship with
the monk, and with the Temple. He often longs for his life there, but as the Temple was destroyed by Firebenders during Aang's
absence, there is no going back to it. Aang currently travels with Katara, a young Waterbender, Sokka, a Water Tribe warrior
and now Toph, a blind and powerful earthbender. The three are Aang's closest friends and have sworn to help Aang defeat
the Fire Lord and help him along his way to becoming the Avatar. Along with them are Appa, Aang's flying
bison and animal guide, and Momo, a pet flying lemur. Momo and Appa act as a reminder to Aang of his life back at the
Air Temple, 100 years earlier. Aang has now mastered Water, Earth and Air; but, Appa has been stolen. The group is now
